"I agree that we need to ensure our students understand that the world is interconnected. Now a day's many students are caught up in their bubble (i.e. personal interests and worries). Critical thinking is necessary in the world today and we as educators must do our best to challenge our students to become researchers. Students should be encouraged to question why things are they way they are, as this will enable them to become active members of our community."
